Josh grew up in a Christian family in the Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania. While he always thought he would take over the family candle-making business, everything changed when he started attending CHBC as an undergraduate student in 1999 and began to grow as a Christian. Josh has served as the deacon of community outreach and on the staff of 9Marks helping with operations. He currently works as a financial management analyst for the Department of the Navy at the Washington Navy Yard. He met his wife Rebekah at CHBC, and they were married in 2010. They live on Capitol Hill with their two children.
